Apple Pie Moonshine Tasting Notes

Aroma’s of baked apple, pie crust, buttery notes, and a hint of cinnamon rise from the glass and follow the scents of a freshly baked pie onto the palate for a delicious, incredibly smooth flavored craft spirit. Enjoy neat, on the rocks, or mixed in a hot or cold cocktail.

Hot Caramel Apple

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 1 oz. Caramel Vodka
• 6-8 0z. Hot Apple Cider

Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm.

Spiced Apple Sour

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 2 oz. Spiced Rum
• 1 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
• 1 oz. Simple Syrup (equal parts sugar and water)
• 1 Egg White (optional) gives the drink great body with a nice foam layer.

Combine all ingredients in an ice filled shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. If using egg white, place a few drops of Angostura bitters on the foam for an aromatic garnish.

Caramel Apple Tini

• 1 ½ oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 1 oz. Caramel Vodka
• 1 ½ oz. Whipped Cream Vodka
• 1 oz. Ginger Ale

In a shaker with ice, add ingredients, shake lightly and strain into a chilled martini glass, rimmed in Apple Pie Moonshine and crushed graham crackers.

Apple Mojito

• 10 Fresh Mint Leaves
• ½ Lime, cut into wedges
• 2 Tbsp. White Sugar
• 2-3 Granny Smith Apple Wedges
~ Muddle above ingredients well, then add;
• 1 ½ oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• ½ oz. Apple Pucker

Mix together in shaker and strain into glass. Add 1 cup ice cubes and ½ cup club soda.

Apple Pie on the Rocks

Pour Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine over ice and enjoy!

Cran-Apple Pie

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 4 oz. Cranberry or CranRaspberry Juice
• Splash of Lemon Lime Soda

Serve on the rocks. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and apple wedge if desired.

Spiced Pear Martini

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 1 oz. Pear Vodka
• ½ oz. Simple Syrup
• 1 ½ oz. Cranberry Juice
• 2 Lemons cut into wedges, then muddle

Shake all ingredients and strain into martini glass.

Spiced Apple Cider

• 1 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 1 oz. Swede Hill American Whiskey
• Apple Cider

Fill glass 1/2 full of ice. Pour in shots, and fill the rest of the way with apple cider. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Try These Additional Recipes

American Pie

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 3 oz. Bourbon

In a shaker with ice, add ingredients and shake gently. Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Variation: Pour bourbon and Apple Pie into a coffee mug and heat for 30 seconds.

The Big Apple

• 3/4 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 2 oz. Brandy (or Bourbon)
• ½ oz. Sweet Vermouth
• Dash Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients and ice in an old-fashioned glass. Stir and garnish.

Apple Margarita

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 4-6 oz. Premium Margarita Mix

Serve on the rocks. Rim glass with sugar or salt, if desired.

Apple Tart

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 1 oz. Brandy
• 1 oz. Irish Cream

Shake all ingredients well with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with some freshly grated cinnamon and nutmeg.

Apple Pie with a Cherry on Top

• 3 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 3 oz. Apple Cider
• 1 oz. Amaretto

Pour all ingredients into a coffee mug and heat for 45 seconds. Top with whipped cream cinnamon, and a maraschino cherry.

An Apple A Day

• 1 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 1 oz. Bourbon
• Dash Angostura bitters
• Lemon wedge
• Ginger Ale

In an ice filled Collins glass, combine Apple Pie Moonshine, bitters and bourbon. Squeeze a lemon wedge and toss into glass. Stir well. Top with ginger ale.

Hot Buttered Apple Pie

• 2 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 2 Tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Mix
• 4 oz. Apple Juice/Cider
• 2 oz. Hot Water

Mix well and serve warm.

Caramel Apple Pie

• 1 ½ oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 3 oz. Toffee Liqueur
• 1 ½ oz. Chocolate Liqueur

In a shaker with ice, add ingredients, shake lightly and strain into a chilled martini glass. Top with chopped nuts.

Apple Pie A La Mode

• 3 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• 1 Tbsp. Peanut Butter
• 3 good scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream

Mix in a blender and serve in chilled glass.

Hot Apple Pie

• 3 oz. Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine
• ½ – 1 oz. Fireball Whiskey

Combine ingredients in an ice filled shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
